Jamie Beck never fails to deliver! I loved this book from it’s charming beginning to it’s touching ending. Beck creates wonderfully vivid and lovable characters with Trip and Kelsey in this sexy romp. I so enjoyed following the evolution of Trip's and Kelsey's relationship from “friends with benefits” to something much deeper - I didn’t want the story to end! I highly recommend this fun book - a perfect summer read!

This book is for all of the hopeless romantics out there. A love story filled with two wonderfully intricate characters and their own unique story filled with ups and downs. It's a must read if you like "and they all lived happily ever after."
Love Kelsey and Trip and their ups and downs. Though I think Kelsey was too obsessed with marriage as it dominated every thought, found that a tad annoying. But overall I liked the book.
Kelsey and Trip. Who would have imagined them as a couple. Anxious to read Book 3 in this series. Reality, love, and determination captures this wonderful love story. Thank you Jamie Beck for your skillful writing and ability to capture the moment of your characters in their journey of love and happiness.
I liked this book better than the first in the series. Trips conversion from a non committed player to a mature committed man was interesting. This conversion was solely secondary to the influence of the beautiful, romantic Kelsey. It’s not without conflict but not to the degree of the first book in the series.
I liked the twists and turns. Interesting, lovable characters. Kept me guessing for sure.
I recommend to anyone who enjoys a good romance, with questions of .. Will they get together or not.
After reading the first book I could not wait to read the second one and I am glad I did. The second book is by far my favorite because I fell in love with Kelsey and Trip they made me into a hopeless romantic again. You will enjoy this book if you are a hopeless romantic and believe in happy endings.
I really liked the first half of this book but then it went somewhere that annoyed me. We have Kelsey this real estate agent who believes in fairy tale endings and is looking for her Prince Charming. However she’s also portrayed as this strong woman who is making a life for herself despite not having a man. Then there’s Trip aka Gunner who is the town’s playboy and doesn’t believe in getting too close to anyone or anything but of course he and Kelsey strike up this friends with benefits relationship that you know will end in heartbreak.

My issue with this book is twofold. Without ruining anything, it becomes clear after their first sexual encounter what is going to happen and I thought “no that’s cliche, the author won’t go there”. She does. And from there Kelsey goes from being strong to ridiculous and Trip goes from being a manwhore to the perfect man. It’s so unbelievable and then another cliche happens and it’s all dramatic yet it’s all sunshine and rainbows at the end.

I like romance novels because when written well they make me swoon & fall in love with the but when I read crap like this, it makes me upset I wasted my time. I want to read something and not know how it’s going to turn out. I like to be surprised. The first book in this series is great. A newer topic. Great characters. This book, not so much.
